When you become a member with TNT, you get access to our monthly events. Which are...well...unbounded! We love the adventure and want to take you with us!
These weekend events are pick-your-own-adventure social/family events. It helps to be on time so that as we gather, friends can connect, make plans, and head out together.
Here's a peek at our typical annual meet-ups:
January - Mid-Winter Light the Night Bike-or-Hike - Bundle up and bring your hot chocolate for a nighttime bike or hike along the Mount Vernon trail!
February - Mountain Biking and Trail Run at Laurel Hill - 11+ miles of easy single-track gravel mountain biking make this a perfect place for beginners. Extra tech trails provide fun for more experienced bikers. Trail runners delight in the woods and multiple trail loops to explore.
March - Spring Flowers Ride - Ride the Potomac to Mount Vernon. Re-group for ice cream and pizza as we usher in the spring.
April - Hyco Lake Triathlon Campout - Join us in North Carolina for our season-opening Sprint Triathlon at Hyco Lake for a weekend of camping, racing, and kayaking.
Also in April, TNT will be hosting a series of Open Water swims in Belmont Bay to get ready for the Triathlon OWS season!
May - Kinetic Triathlon Festival and Campout - Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons at a beautiful, Lake Anna venue.
June - Trident Unbounding - A weekend of Tri training and group glamping at Prince William Forest Park's 1930's CCC Cabins.
July - Lucky Coin Race Series Youth-Tri Series - A little swim, a little bike, a little run! Our biggest meetup of the year with over 40 socially-distanced athletes.
August - Lums Pond Triathlon - Beat the summer heat with a Sprint or Olympic distance event!
September - Wrightsville Beach Beach Retreat - All-ages triathlon at a beautiful beach venue in NC. A fun-filled weekend of competition and camaraderie. Race in the morning and join us all weekend at the Surf Suites in Wrightsville Beach.
October - Triathlonathon Fundraiser - Swim, Bike, and Run for a good cause!
November - Fall Leaves Bike-or-Hike at Prince William Forest National Park. Check out the Autumn colors as we ride the 12-mile loop, or join the nature hike along one of the many well-groomed trails in the park.
December - Mountain biking meet-up at Meadow Wood Recreation Area. Explore the more than 5 miles of MTB trails by bike or by foot!
